The bag is versatile in regard to what it can carry (camera, extra lenses, tripod) and it even allows you to bring a hydration reservoir along.
Where the bag sits against your back, ventilation pads are present allowing your back to stay cool. Same can be said for the shoulder straps which are well ventilated.
The bag is robust, the built quality is brilliant.
The bag is versatile in regard to what it can carry (camera, extra lenses, tripod) and it even allows you to bring a hydration reservoir along.

Build quality:
The bag is well build, the straps are robust still are well ventilated. The interior of the bag is versatile and allows you to adjust the compartments
The exterior of the bag is robust. Both the straps and the back of the bag are well ventilated.
On the bottom of the bag is an all weather rain cover. It is connected to the bag, so no chance of losing it on one of your many adventures.
The rain cover protect the bags on the front and the sides and is a welcome addition when it rains.
On one side of the bag is a hydration pouch. The bag, when purchased, doesn't come with a hydration bladder, but these can be easily purchased from your local outdoor shop.
On the other side of the bag are 2 straps which allow you to carry a tripod. Once the tripod is attached, two flaps cover it up and are clipped in place.
On the front of the bag are 2 elastic bands which allow you to attach trekking poles to the bag as well.

The main interior section of the bag is accessed via the back of the bag. We love this as it becomes very difficult to open the bag when it is attached to your back . So your camera and lenses are well secured.

The interior of the bag which holds your lenses and camera is removable. It is also padded and can be closed by pulling 2 draw strings. This protects your expensive gear even more from the weather conditions.
The interior is fully customizable without any effort, allowing you to create a storage location fully adjusted to your kit.
The strap which secures the bag around your waist allows you to take off the shoulder straps and swing the bag around 180 degrees. By doing so, the interior of the bag can be accessed without the need to remove the bag.

How we tested it
We have been testing the Lowepro Flipside sport 15Lt AW for the last 10 months. We have taken this bag out every week to events, we took it hiking , we took it with us while climbing the local mountains or hiking along the many Sligo forest trails. The bag came along on our adventures discovering the Wild Atlantic Way.
