Discover the Wild Atlantic Way

The Wild Atlantic Way is one of the worlds most spectacular driving routes celebrating in 2024 its 10th anniversary. The route is 2500km in length and stretches from Malin Head in County Donegal to kinsale in County Cork.

The route winds it's way along the rugged, wild Atlantic Coast and provides the scenery, food and hospitality you should at least experience once in your life.

The route is divided in 6 regions, each of them offering you unique experiences, stunning scenery and fun activities.

Haven Coast

The haven coast stretches from Kinsale to Bantry bay and is the southernmost stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way. The area is known for its mild gulf stream climate and has many blue flag beaches

The Cliff Coast is just spectacular. From the Cliffs of Moher to the Burren, you will be amazed with the rugged coastline, the amazing flora and fauna of the Burren and the views across the Atlantic ocean.

Bay Coast

The Bay coast stretches from Erris to Connemara. The route follows Galway Bay, Clew Bay and Killary harbour which is Ireland's only true fjord . Get away from it all and find that perfect beach just for yourself.

Surf Coast

The surf coast stretches from Erris in County Mayo to Donegal town passing through County Sligo. This stretch of coast is famous for it's rugged coast, huge waves and wild landscapes. Mullaghmore Head is world renowned for its big waves and is frequently visited by the world's best surfers.
